Some New News!
All Right!!!
So, its been quite a while since my last post i feel a little silly for letting it go so long im sure no one will even read this thing anymore, they just wont expect anything from it... we shall see.
Anyways, where do i even begin? Its been a little over half a year of fine arts since i talked last... and what has happened? lots of growing up, a secret lover, painting, parties, pubs, bands, friends... i guess thats really it... lots of things have happened to me really...
So now i am starting this up again as the secret lover was well... obviously a secret. How could i write about it and spoil the whole thing??? its done now though. You know... I might start with the future as i don't want to rehash the past just right now. I plan on going to Turkey in the summer, tickets and travel have been arranged i am going on a tour of the ancient cities of revelations as well as just chilling a few days in Istanbul to see the blue mosque and the Hagia Sophia, oh also im going to the ruins of troy which will be amazing beyond words! its going to be quite wonderful, you see im going with a group of old people and scholarly types and as i hear it there are only perhaps 3 others in my age range on the trip
Anyways i got the latest issue of W magazine and it featured Keira Knightly and James Mcavoy, both are in the new movie atonement, good movie, great book as usual... i really really like Ian McEwan hes a great writer if you haven't read any of his work i highly highly recomend it! SO to my point about that little spin off... i got the magazine and i was in the car waiting for my mum to finish her banking, and there are some sinfully good photos of james mcavoy, and i was daydreaming about my trip, and i got to thinking about how delicious it would be to end up on the trip with someone as dreamy and delectable as he is, to find ourselfs the only two close in age and, find ourselfs out of lack of anyone else to talk to friends. we should then talk of all the most wonderful things like art and architecture and books and music and find ourselves inexplicably and
un-ignorably compelled to fall in love over the course of our whorl wind tour of turkey. Just think of it... all the sensual settings, exotic architecture, spices and heat filling the air, the rich sounds of the bustling istanbul streets, the quite desert nights perfect for country side for walks and long engulfing conversations, or long passionate embrace... ouh la la i could become enraptured just thinking about it...i have a much better imagination than life let me tell you ha ha ha... cant you see it? Oh it would be so grand, perhaps he is a med student, a writer (a poet of course), a young architect, something marvelous of course... and me the youthful artist. i wish that i could just make up real life it would be so grand.
Oh by the way i added an art blog and i am going to try my very very hardest to keep it alive and updated... i just finished a wood sculpture/ installation project so i will put some photos of that up and keep you posted on all the progress.
kisses to all, i hope you enjoy this little tidbit of news i tryed to make it interesting with out giving too much... hopefully that worked.
