the forest next to starbucks

the mourning of the forest next to starbucks

haven of my daydreams,
giant lot of trees,
my secret garden in commercial grey
one vacant patch that had escaped.

I drove past you on my way home,
it was last Saturday,
as I drove by I smiled at you,
you swayed with your reply,

I drove past you,
you were still home,
later that same night,
then Sunday came and you were gone,
taken in the night.

now you'll be replaced by something else,
something concrete, something new.
your branches gave to corporate growth,
I wont forget, I take my oath,
your green will live here in my heart,
as this world turns to grey,
cherishing dreams that nature holds
each and every day.

I finally found a new place to stay
& look what happened they ripped my home from my my little paws

I loved the location too, when I was sick of honey etc. I'd go next door to starbucks for a latte or a moca of some sort, yeah usually I would put honey in it, but that's not what I'm getting at.
