dont forget to sell your soul
i found this little paragraph/poem of sorts in adbusters beside a picture of a power wheels escalade in a zellers or a walmart or whatever it is... starting to get to them younger and younger... next thing you know babys will pop out of the womb crying not for a mothers love and her warm life giving breasts, but for an ipod, and a cellphone...
here's the paragraph that i was telling you about though...
Bow down and worship all those sacred shrines of our "advanced" civilization. Our golden gods under golden arches rubbing elbows with out living legends on silver screens. Bow down and worship the strip mall overtaking the trees. Bow down and worship our prayer altar of disposables. Let us pile them higher and higher so that we might just reach the heavens with all that we have bought and discarded, all that we have wasted, all that we have destroyed. all our treasures we kneel before each day that fill our landfills and empty our souls.

New things really fill the void for me. They give me that my-life-is-now-complete feeling. It's so nice.
